My Love

Chris Casab

When, in times of sorrow, I stand and weep

About the one who lives within my mind,

And this, my love, causes my lack of sleep,

I recall the time when she was so kind,

She has me sitting there with disbelief,

Wishing that one day I can call her mine

And giving me a great sense of relief,

Although I convince myself that I’m fine;

Yet my luck may begin to change today,

As I have built up the courage to ask

For her to join me by the county bay,

I will have the ability to bask;

       My love, will change how I feel when she comes,

       Who knows what this new relationship becomes
